For our last publication in Empirical Nonsense Daily of this week, we present two other recent projects. Apart from BOLERO 2021 that’s still on show until 10 April in the Centre André-Malraux and in the streets of Rouen, we organized Loving Care with the large-scale paintings of Pierre Mertens in De Blikfabriek in Antwerp last September-October. And end of January there was the group show Troupe/Troep at ChezKit. Find the page dedicated to these two projects here.
While the Seine Maritime department, including Rouen, goes through yet another confinement, we are happy to be able to offer you a digital visit of the Bolero project, produced by Octopus. The new additions to the Bolero project remain visible in the public space at the square in front of the Centre André Malraux in the Grand Mare and the rue des Bons Enfants in the centre of Rouen until 10 April 2021. Please follow this link to visit. Find some in situ impressions from the rue des Bons Enfants as well… Read More

From the introduction: “It is mainly the question of performance that arises. Because many things are called performances. Clearly, in our work there is a desire to construct rituals.” But many other subjects are addressed, allowing us to discover more precisely the innovative work of this already mythical duo! “The artist is the one who permanently leaves the wound open.” Find the text in French here for part one and part… Read More

For this they are currently preparing costumes and accessories. The image they designed is inspired by ancient representations that appear throughout history in diverse traditions, even in Christian statues, especially in Ireland. Saint… Read More
