Hester Doove is a photographer specialised in making portraits and preferring to work with natural light on location. She works for magazines, business companies, record companies, and other clients or projects.

She started her work as a photographer for music magazine OOR in 1989, making portraits of international music artists, such as Seal, Barry White, Elvis Costello, Marianne Faithfull, Tori Amos, Moby, JJ Cale, John Hiatt and many more.

Her work was recently featured in Not For Sale – a book of unpublished work by music photographers, initiated by ZEE, featuring amongst others a portrait she made of Herman Brood.
