‘Oui, Fontaine! Dialogues’ is a group show initiated by the artist Tania Antoshina. The exhibition will feature work by more than 40 artists and marks a continuation of the first ‘Fountain’ exhibition, held in November 2024. Most of the participating artists in that first edition had emigrated from Russia to Paris or other Western European countries. For this new edition, each of them collaborates with a local artist from France, Belgium, and beyond. Among the participants for this second part are Beatrijs Albers & Reggy Timmermans who dialogue with Berlin-based artists MishMash as well as Alexandra Dementieva who collaborates with Marianne Csaky.
A century ago, Espace Albatros, where the exhibition takes place, was a gathering place for the Russian diaspora, and it also became a hub of early cinema when Charles Pathé established a film studio at the location. Today, it continues to thrive as a creative space, still dedicated to filmmaking and art.

[FR] ‘Oui, Fontaine! Dialogues’ est une exposition collective initiée par l’artiste Tania Antoshina. L’exposition présentera les œuvres plus de 40 artistes et s’inscrit dans la continuité de la première exposition ‘Fountain’, qui s’est tenue en novembre 2024. La plupart des artistes ayant participé à cette première édition avaient émigré de Russie vers Paris ou d’autres pays d’Europe de l’Ouest. Pour cette nouvelle édition, chacun d’eux collabore avec un·e artiste local·e de France, de Belgique ou d’ailleurs.
Il y a un siècle, le lieu accueillait déjà la diaspora russe. Il est également devenu un centre du cinéma naissant lorsque Charles Pathé y a fondé un studio, aujourd’hui connu sous le nom d’Espace Albatros. Ce lieu continue aujourd’hui de vivre comme un espace de création, toujours dédié au cinéma et à l’art.
