Bureau Doove is affiliated with the transdisciplinary research group Transtechnology Research at Plymouth University through the doctoral research of Edith Doove. At the heart of her research and activities lies the highly topical question of how to develop a qualitative collaboration between the human and nonhuman. This question is amongst others developed in her PhD-research Laughter, Inframince and Cybernetics – Exploring the Curatorial as Creative Act (2017)
