Covers for the World in Moshi extended

The exhibition Covers for the World was extended until Saturday 2 May 2026.

For the exhibition, a reproduction of Picasso’s Les Demoiselles d’Avignon was painted over by Tanzanian artists Prince John Hugo, Lightness Jonas, David Valerian Mlay and Lilian Munuo. Each artist worked on one quarter of the reproduction, creating a new work that occupies a central place in the exhibition, which brings together art, decolonisation and care.

Featuring work by Prince John Hugo, Lightness Jonas, Pierre Mertens, David Valerian Mlay, Lilian Munuo and Daniil Zozulya, Covers for the World is an initiative by Pierre Mertens in collaboration with curator Edith Doove.

At SHARE Global Knowledge Centre, Moshi (Tanzania) until 2 May 2026. Open during working hours and on request via info@child-help.international
