Your art at Arts Festival Watou?

Arts Festival Watou launched an open call on 10 March 2023.

Koen Vanmechelen invites you, as part of Patchwwwork, to spend a few days in Watou during the summer of 2023.

The open call is addressed to:

• Professional artists or final-year undergraduate/master’s art students
• Artists of all disciplines
• Individuals or collectives
• From any nationality

The artists selected from this open call will be invited to Patchwwwork.

During this three-day encampment, participants will explore how Watou as a village and as a community can connect with the artists and vice versa.

After the stay, the artists will be asked to submit a project proposal.

From these, a jury chaired by Koen Vanmechelen, will make a selection for Arts Festival Watou 2024.

The open call will be launched on 10 March and will end on 20 April 2023.

An international jury will select participants based on motivation, CV and portfolio.

Ton œuvre d’art au Festival des Arts de Watou 2024 ?

Le festival des arts de Watou lance un appel ouvert le 10 mars.

Dans le cadre de Patchwwwork, l’inspirateur Koen Vanmechelen vous invite à passer quelques jours à Watou pendant l’été 2023.

Les artistes intéressés peuvent poser leur candidature pour participer à ce projet.

L’appel à candidatures s’adresse à :

Artistes professionnels ou étudiants en dernière année de licence/master en art.
Artistes de toutes disciplines
Individuels ou en collectif
Du pays ou de l’étranger

Les artistes sélectionnés dans le cadre de cet appel ouvert seront invités à Patchwwwork.

Au cours de ce campement de trois jours, les participants exploreront la manière dont Watou, en tant que village et communauté, peut se connecter aux artistes et vice versa.

Après le séjour, les artistes seront invités à soumettre une proposition de projet.

Un jury présidé par Koen Vanmechelen fera une sélection pour le Kunstenfestival Watou 2024.
